 Guillemot Colony in Hinlopenstretet. Svalbard, Norway. The Brünnich’s guillemot is a stout, sturdily built auk that is slightly smaller than the common guillemot. The Svalbard population, and the rest of the birds in the North Atlantic, belong to the nominate race lomvia.
