 Germany, Hessen, Limburg an der Lahn: the cathedral, St. Georgsdom, set on a rocky spur, is a classic example of Transitional Gothic architecture which was prevalent in Germany between 1210 and 1250, and externally appears to be pure Romanesque. Here: early morning view from the east, showing the old castle which shares the same hill, with reflections.
