I have been photographing families for many years and I adore natural portraiture, to be able to truly capture the spirit of your family.  I work in a relaxed and informal way and specialise in black and white images of pregnancy, newborns, babies and families. 

 
Based in Cambridge, my photography takes place in your home or a location where you and your partner or family feel most comfortable and at ease.    Working with available (natural) light I do not bring lots of equipment so, if inside, we can work in small spaces but still give the impression of a studio shoot.

 
I absolutely delight in photographing women during their pregnancy it is a privilege to share such a special time.  It is  also a time when your body is very beautiful, with increased blood flow to the skin the complexion just glows, and hair is full and shiny, add to this, the air of expectation and excitement of those last few weeks and you get a wonderful record of one of the most special times in your life.  I can return as early as the day of birth to capture those special very first moments. 

 
My family lifestyle shoots are great fun, as a mother I know that children are at their most relaxed when playing.  So we head out to the park, wood, beach or just the garden and capture the whole family enjoying each other. Very soon everyone forgets the camera is there.  Family sessions can last a little as an hour or we can spend time together and document a day in the life of your child. 

 
What is most important to me is that you enjoy the experience and take away images that truly reflect the spirit of your family.

 

I hold a Licentiate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (LBIPP).  I have enhanced CRB disclosure and full insurances.
