Norwegian by birth and UK resident since 1979. B.A English & French Law (Kent and Bordeaux universities). M.phil Social & Political Theory (Cambridge University). Formerly lecturer in law at Kent University and 8 years practising as a Barrister in Liverpool before leaving the profession in the middle of 2005 in favour of photography. One year study contemporary media practice at Westminster University (2005/6). Whilst there undertook a project photographing the work of the Barefoot Doctor. Currently photographing the fortunes of Whitstable Town Football Club as an ongoing project (2006 ongoing). Commissions from private individuals (weddings/portraits/birthdays etc), commercial organisations (recently: Post Office, Cosmopolitan, Whitstable Times, yourcanterbury) and the public sector (events, annual reports etc) at competitive rates.

I tend to adopt a relaxed style when photographing. If you like unfussy, reportage style work, you may like what I do. I am, of course, happy to work to particular briefs.
