Protect Gower
Gower has a timeless beauty, but for how much longer?
So many diverse environments, from sandy bays to saltwater marshes, forests to downs, all exist side by side and play host to an even larger diversity of wildlife. It is all amazing and all needs protecting.
Contributing factors such as falling sand levels on Gower beaches, the relentless erosion of coastline and wrecks and the inadvertent negative effects of its own increased popularity are putting the Gower image in danger. Add to this the certainty of global warming with possible sea level rises and the stunning natural beauty of Gower may be lost forever.
