The flower and photography thing started early. First I completed a BSc in Botany. I was given an SLR camera and macro lens for my 21st birthday. Much later, I did a Foundation degree in Photography & Digital Imaging.

I am a Licentiate member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (LBIPP) and carry professional indemnity insurance as well as public liability insurance. I am also at Associate level with the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS). I use the BIPP and RPS as forums to share ideas and to improve my professional development.
